I hooked up with Aelion, one of the bright young stars in the guild, and we went to town last night. First we killed a bunch of Silithids down at the Field of Giants so I could take their eggs back to some freaky troll witch-doctor at the Crossroads. Then we took on the biggest-ass kodo fuhggers I've ever seen. Got stomped on a bit, but it was good fun. Then back to work, this time raising hell at a dwarf mine called Bael Modan. Check out my flashy new shoulder armor - took it off a dwarf after putting my axe through his skull. I'll probably go back there sometime - it was fun. Finally we went over to a Razormane camp and killed a bunch of piggies so we could take some of their funky weapons back to Camp Taurajo. A most productive romp in the plains.
I also worked on my blacksmithing craft. Made a bunch of armor pieces
for sale, but also worked on a couple of swords for the guild. A
two-handed one for Bethsheba and a real nice shortsword for Aelion. I
enjoy my time at the forge almost as much as like making the quillboar
piggies sqeal.
So there I am, running down the Gold Road in the Barrens, minding me own business. When suddenly there's 3 Alliance outriders, all Level 25 Elites on mounts. Bang, I'm dead. I hate being dead. Fuhgin Alliance.
Never did make it to the Stonetalons, but I did kill a bunch of piggies and thundersnouts. That felt good.
